OUR HOUSE

After 2 years of extensive restauration works, Huis ‘t Schaep Bed & Breakfast opened its doors in 2008. The former house of Samuel Coucke – a 19th century glazier and ceramic tiles painter – was restored to its former glory, whilst also being updated with all modern comforts.
We are very centrally located in one 16th century and one 17th century building, which were joined together around 1850 in neogothical style. We are close to all major tourist attractions and parkings.

All our suites really make the most of the grandeur of the era the house was built in. All the beautiful details are celebrated and allow our guests to relax in style.
Our salon, located in the “chapel” on the first floor, is also available to our guests. Here you can enjoy a drink before or after your dinner and on warm sunny days, you can do so on the adjoining roof terrace.

Below you will find some impression photos of our house, but please don’t hesitate to ask us for a tour when you stay with us; we will be happy to show you around.
